I first saw a flyer from Diamond in the Ruff at the vet’s office, watched the video on the Diamond in the Ruff
website and thought, this is to good to be true, and you know what they say…
After you came up and gave us a demonstration, I was very enthused and excited about training
Mocha the Diamond in the Ruff way.
I had taken Ellie, our other dog, through traditional dog training. It was good training for both of us, but I
didn’t and don’t have the time to take 30 minutes out of my day, every day, to work and train my dog.
With Diamond in the Ruff, you can literally train your dog all day and still go about your daily routine.
It is truly amazing the transformation in behavior that it has had on Mocha. I was able to see the results of
training quickly and Mocha responded and learned much quicker than by traditional methods.
I would recommend Diamond in the Ruff to anyone interested in having a well-behaved companion.
Friends and family have been amazed at Mocha’s response to the training and how easily and quickly
she responds to commands.
As you know, Diamond in the Ruff has made such an impression on me that I have just started the Diamond in the Ruff training with my older dog.
Thanks Allison!
Sincerely,

When we discovered Allison McCloskey’s training program, Diamond in the Ruff, our mini Aussie pup, Dallas, was pretty much out of control. His favorite game was to escape from the house or car and run in ever widening circles out of our reach. It was frustrating and dangerous. He had also started the very bad habit of charging at strangers and barking. Allison kept him for two weeks in her board and train program and the results were spectacular! In this short period of time he became an obedient companion. He walks at a heel off the leash and comes immediately when called. He does all of this in a joyful, eager to please manner and he is clearly a much happier pup. There is no more screaming and threatening on our part-just quiet commands that he responds to immediately. Going on walks is a joy and everyone we pass comments on our well behaved dog. What a transformation! This training method gets the dog’s attention quickly and allows the learning to take place at a remarkable pace. We highly recommend Allison and her program to any dog owner.
Thank you Allison & Diamond in the Ruff!

Dear Allison & Diamond in the Ruff:
When we found Ollie, a manic, nervous bundle of beagle, we were at our wits end on how to even get him to respond to his name. We have had dogs in the past, and were confident in our “training” abilities.” Ollie was our wake up call that we weren’t as smart as we thought we were. We were very concerned that there was no hope of Ollie learning just the basic commands of discipline. He was uncontrollable. With Diamond in the Ruff training, Ollie has become a totally different dog. He responds with exuberance to commands, and seems to be more content and happy. He is now such a joy to our family. I would recommend Diamond in the Ruff training to anyone; even to those who feel there is no hope.
Thank you Allison & Diamond in the Ruff

I HAVE A NEW DOG!
Well, she’s not exactly new. Foxy, the incorrigible Corgi, is nearly three. She was a car chaser. She particularly liked white vehicles, or any vehicle towing anything. She was determined to get them! Not sure what she was going to do with them. But, I digress.
We went to standard dog obedience classes when she was a puppy. She spent her time chasing after all the other dogs and not being a very good student. Not sure if she was trying to herd those other dogs, as her instincts would tell her to do. Or, maybe she was trying to protect me from them. Or, maybe she was just going to get them… like she was going to get those vehicles. We didn’t “pass” our class. Who doesn’t pass a dog obedience class?!
In the meantime, Foxy and I would go for walks. When vehicles passed us, she would charge after it. It was as though she tripped out into her own little world. There was no reaching her.
I tried choke chains, fabric-covered choke chains, and gentle leads. I can honestly say that Foxy would not have cared if I had ripped her head off with one of those collars. Of course, I wouldn’t have done that, but… I’m just saying…
Enter Allison and “Diamond in the Ruff” and the training collar… and my new dog, Foxy.
Thanks Allison!

I have had the pleasure of training my Great Dane ‘Duke’ with Allison McCloskey of ‘Diamond in the Ruff.’ Duke had several issues that needed to be corrected. He was not very social with dogs and did not like cats. He also liked to constantly pull when he was on a leash.
After a few days with Allison in the board and train program, Duke got along with dogs and did not object as much about cats. He is now fun to walk with and my arms do not feel as if they will be pulled from their sockets.
I am more confident when I go on a walk that Duke will not go after another dog or take after a cat. The leash use to be constantly tight. The leash now loose and I am sure more comfortable for Duke also.
Duke rides well in the car and when we both get to the door I get to walk through it without being knocked over.
I highly recommend Allison and the techniques of Diamond in the Ruff, because your dog will do exactly what you want.

My husband and I are a true testimonial to the ‘Diamond in the Ruff’ dog training program. We adopted Gracie our dog when she was about six weeks old, and from the time we brought her home she was a handful. She didn’t mind, she was bull-headed you can say she was a “her way or no way” kind of dog. We had many issues with chewing everything including door jams, barking at anything, sleeping at night and more. I tried at the local recreation center which turned out to be a disaster, I read everything I could on training but nothing was working, I was ready to find her a new home even though we loved her and becoming very attached. Then one day on my way to work I saw the “Diamond in the Ruff” vehicle in town and decided to go online and check it out. After watching the video I made a phone call to Allison McCloskey the trainer and it has turned out to be the best call I’ve ever made. I described all of our issues and she said she could help. She came to our home met Gracie and we started the program within a few days. Allison, working with us as much as Gracie, has turned her into a precious little creature that we would not give up, the training is a very gentle loving way to get your dog to behave the way you expect. Allison still calls and comes to our home if we feel the need. We would highly recommend this program. Allison is a true dog lover and treats and loves your dog as if it were her own.

Dear Allison,
I wanted to thank you and the ‘Diamond in the Ruff’ training program- as you know we found Nanuk in the road when he was about 5 ½ weeks old. He has been a total challenge from that day on and we did training with him on just about every program and they would work a little but he was still out of control. He would chase runners, deer and bark at everything and would not listen to us. I was about to give up but wanted to try one more time because I could see he wanted to be good, we just needed to get on the same page and then I found you and Diamond in the Ruff.
From the first training day, he has been a totally different dog. We can take him places and not worry about him leaving us. Our friends can come over and he doesn’t jump on them and pester them the whole time they are there. He doesn’t chase the runners anymore. I have had many complements on his behavior. He is calm, he listens and he is the dog I knew was him.
Thank you Allison for training him and us – I recommend you and your program to everyone.
Again thank you!
Sincerely,

We discovered Allison thru my mother. Allison was putting on a demo with her dog Piper and was just amazed how well
behaved Piper was.
Our dog Cash is a Belgian Malinois same breed as Piper. So we knew we had hope.
Cash didn't have very many manners. He barked, jumped on people, and would not do basic commands.
Putting Cash thru the Diamond in the Ruff board and train program we now have a very well behaved dog. We are so
happy with the results. Cash is a new dog!
Thank you, Allison
