Our Colorado Dog Training Programs:

‘Finding your Diamond’ Puppy Socialization classes:

Our four week Colorado dog training class from Diamond in the Ruff is designed to get you and your puppy off on the right paw. All sessions are held in a park setting. Focus is on understanding how to provide effective leadership; health and nutrition; house training; finding solutions for problem behaviors and prevention. It is very important for young puppies to have an opportunity to socialize and learn to play properly with others their own age in a safe environment. This class is designed for puppies under 4 months of age and the requirements are proof of at least 2 rounds of vaccines and an “OK” from the vet.

‘Diamond in the Ruff’ training package:

Is the most popular, being the best of both worlds this package starts with in-home private lessons and then moves to out door park classes. Our private lessons are scheduled 5 to 7 days apart to learn how to teach our ‘Diamonds in the ruff’ the foundation of basic obedience.
Well-behaved dogs trained by Diamond in the Ruff
The commands that are taught:

‘Come’ on command
‘Sit’
‘Down’
‘Wait’ at the door
‘Walking next to you on a loose leash
No jumping, no puppy play biting
‘Off’ the furniture
And
‘Quiet’

After working in a private setting we introduce real world distractions with 1 year unlimited group class. Group training sessions are critical for the client who wants to develop reliable obedience and off leash control in the presence of other dogs and day-to-day distractions.

‘One Carat’ package offers 4 private lessons:

This is a four private lesson package structured for those individuals whose main goal is to have a well-behaved dog within the confines of their own home and property. These lessons are tailored to your own specific needs and goals. We will address issues such as but not limited to: ‘Coming’ when called; ‘Waiting’ at the door; house breaking, nipping, jumping, and walking next to you on a loose leash.

‘Five Carat’ package is our Board and Train:

Have your dog trained by a professional! Board and train is a great alternative for people who do not have the time or schedule to train their own dog. This is also ideal for the owners who are planning to go on a trip. Why not have your dog trained while you are away instead of just sitting in a kennel doing nothing.
This is a two week program where your dog will go home with the foundation of:

‘Heel’
‘Sit’
‘Down’
‘Come’ on command
No jumping
Quiet
‘Place’
And
Walking next to you on a loose leash

At the pick up time, there will be a go-home lesson where the owners are taught what the dog knows, how to ask for it, and how to reinforce it.

There will also be one additional follow up lesson available to make sure everything is going well at home. Once the owner is comfortable with the commands they are welcome to start 1 year of unlimited group class.  At the Free consultation we evaluate your dog and training goals to customize your training package. You are just one call away from a happy, reliable, obedient dog!   970-323-9003

   Dog Walking Service:

A balanced dog is one that has excercise, discipline, and love, all in that order. Quite a few of my clients tell me there just isn't enough time in
the day to give their dog the excerise needed for that balanced dog they want.  Just give us a call to set up that walk!  970-323-9003
